A weekend break in London, and a few hours to pass before the train home, gave the opportunity for a look around the excellent London Transport Museum at Convent Garden. WHilst the refurbished museum has fewer actual vehicles than previously (it does have a store at Acton which is often open for inspection) the theme has been very well developed to illustrate the story of the system and its growth, and cause for growth of and within the capital. One tram features, West Ham 102, which was the well known subject of the 1:72 scale Keil Kraft plastic kit some years ago.
