Stocklist available online!

1st December 2009

We have added the latest version of the Beamish railway stocklist to the blog – you’ll find it on the menu to the right of this bulletin, titled ‘Transport Stocklist’. Hopefully readers will find this to be of interest/use? I have a working list that I use as part of my job, and have occasionally supplied this to enthusiasts where requested. However, by putting it online it should find a wider audience. I should add that this list is definitive! There is much confusion about our collection on various internet listings, particularly with regard to the rolling stock! I have included the trams and the next edition of the list should include road steam too…

Below: This is the image that I have used for the cover shot – Bowes’ Barclay No.22 back in May when first started running the colliery railway again – it seems a long long time ago! Hopefully Coffee Pot will be running regularly shortly, certainly for the reopening at Easter next year. I am also mulling over an idea to have a small scale steam event in February, a Winter Warmer if you like. This will be in connection with a project we are working on and may involve a visiting steam locomotive as well as Coffee Pot. 2010 is set to be an incredibly busy year!
