Bedford Steam Fair at Old Warden
23rd September 2010
Last weekend I travelled down to Old Warden (home of the Shuttleworth Collection) near Biggleswade for the Bedford Steam Fair. This is a superb working show with a large attendance of exhibits. There is plenty of opportunity to see them moving as well as a number of displays in the working area – many ideas gathered for future Beamish events! An additional attraction are the flying aircraft and numerous examples were to be seen in the air on the Saturday.
Below: Here is a selection of views taken on Saturday showing some of the variety of exhibits on show…
Hi it is Lillian here you are such an amazing museum and I really enjoy your postings and photographs. I went to an opening at our Auckland MOTAT museum of transport and Technology we have here last week for the unveiling of another tram (a double decker) from Wellington brought up to Auckland for tram rides…it was fantastic.
I would certainly be interested in an E Book don’t forget you can publish catagory by catagory etc. to make more money.
You all do awesome work. One day soon I will be knocking on your door all the way from New Zealand….can’t wait
Regards
