Well, here we are again on the eve of another big event…

The weather today has been glorious and hopefully will hold. Much is in place with final arrivals tomorrow and on Friday (Sir Vincent). A last minute display of hand carts has been put together – see photos of some examples below, as these seldom see the light of day but form an impressive collection.

Below: This morning the press call was held – based around the steam gallopers plus Alan Hines’ Robey. Here he is watering this morning before heading for the fair…

Below: Before being enclosed in the marquee, the two Aveling steam dinosaurs were photographed in the morning sun. These will be part of a static display (including the hand carts) and numerous family activities.
