Monday in the sun…

Below: Early this morning, Coffee Pot stirs… I was shunting the Waggonway train ready for removal (by lorry) to the Waggonway, this morning, with Coffee Pot providing the usual motive power (soon we’ll have Lewin to choose from as well…!).
Below: In the background progress on digging out the narrow gauge formation continues…

Below: The Waggonway train, back at the Waggonway. Please reserve judgement regarding the colours – they don’t look quite as vivid in real life! David applies more of the neon yellow (actually, it is supposed to be light stone) to the open coach. The white framework will be the mid-grey per the coach in the background, now completed. To the right, Gordon has completed one of the most rapid chaldron repaints ever witnessed, managing to carry on work whilst the train brake system was re-connected and tested! Later on running trials were made before the train was returned to the carriage shed.
