A few more views from the GNSF…
Here is a quick last look at the GNSF with some photographs I took whenever I had the chance, showing the vast array of exhibits in action around the site. There are lots more photographs on the Museum’s Flickr page and more will be added over the coming days. This was probably our most successful event yet, with something like 14,000 visitors attending over the four days, despite some indifferent weather. We would like to thank all of those who attended with exhibits and assisted us in presenting the event, and of course all of those who came and visited, helping to make it such a success.
I really enjoyed this weekend, and as a person with early onset lewy body dementia, I am in my element at this museum, and travel up from Chester-le-Street when ever I can. You are doing a marvelous job and giving so many so much pleasure.
I visited on the Sunday and despite the weather I believe this was the best event I have attended at Beamish .
A fine cross selection of exhibits .
Hi folks, thanks for your kind comments – they really are appreciated by the team who put the events together and the staff and volunteers who run them. I think we were overwhelmed by just how many people came to visit – something like 15,000. We just have to make sure the next event is even better!!!
