It may be recalled by readers of the blog that some thought is being given to repainting Gateshead 10, temporarily, into British Railways green livery. This photograph from the collection of John Carlson arrived recently and serves as a useful reminder of this project. With so much happening at the moment the thought process towards repainting 10 has taken a back seat, but we will shortly be launching an online appeal on this blog for funds and contributions towards the repaint and an anticipated appearance at the late summer/autumn Power from the Past event onwards.
