The latest edition of the transport collection stocklist is now available online – download it from the links on to the right hand side of the blog itself. The list now includes the whole transport collection, and whilst being very much a ‘work in progress’, it is reasonably comprehensive. It will be updated in the autumn and I welcome any corrections or additions to fill some of the gaps in information. The next edition may be extended to include some of the industrial items at Beamish, particularly the steam plant and boilers. A printed version is available and should be on sale at the museum from next week…
