David Young, as ever, has been busy! Not only has he produced a heap of patterns for Lewin, he is now well advanced on machining the castings and associated fittings. Here is a photo of one of the oil pots, complete with a regiment of oil pipes, unions and nuts. There is likely to be a short delay in the influx of castings, giving Dave an opportunity to overhaul items such as the reverser and handbrake shaft. There is no shortage of fittings to consider and a large spreadsheet is being used to monitor and track progress. All good stuff!
