Below: Work on 233’s repaint is progressing well and paint should be going on tomorrow morning. The tram is now entirely rubbed down and various dents and dings have been filled.

With the lifeguards and trays re-fitted it is starting to look more itself!

Below: The Outdoor Works Team of volunteers spent the morning cleaning the locomotives in the Colliery, including Newcastle, which also had its firebox repainted and some other cosmetic work to smarten it up in anticipation of the GNSF and full opening of the summer season on Saturday.
