Below: The narrow gauge railway project is forging ahead, with the engine shed now relocated onto a newly prepared base. The track will run away to the far heap of road planings, from the shed, with a turnout bringing the crossing line towards the photographer, then kicking back along the right hand side of the road.

Below: The collection of Rowley crossing gates – new parts are made and all will be glued and screwed to complete the repairs.

Below: Our ‘exploded’ portable boiler has moved on a short loan to the Bowes Railway for an event taking place there in coming months. It was removed this morning and will return in May.
