Following on from last year’s two very successful evening photo opportunities we’re pleased to announce that we’ll be holding another during the forthcoming Great North Steam Fair.

The evening will be held on Saturday 14th April from 5.45 – 9.00pm and there’ll be a wide range of period transport on display without the usual visitors milling around – a perfect opportunity for photographers out there.

The main features of the evening will be the Y7 in steam at the Colliery, Birkenhead 20 on the Town Street and the Gallopers on static display at the events field. On top of this there’ll be staff and the Friends in costume and we’ll be confirming more transport exhibits nearer the time. Not to be missed!
