Event build up reaches a peak with latest arrivals…

Below: Bluebird Buses of Scarborough have sent their newly (and beautifully) restored 1929 Leyland Tiger TS2. This will be on display and performing demonstration runs throughout the event and is seen here in the company of Blackpool 31. Our own trolleybus, 501, arrived today from Sandtoft (where it briefly called in after returning from Lowestoft and the East Anglian Transport Museum) and will also be on display during the GNSF. These photos were taken by Andy Martin.

Below: A head on view of the Leyland.

Below: The Stafford family have brought this Scammell traactor and rather fine living van to accompany their Fowler road locomotive.

Below: Baxter has arrived and is seen at Rowley Station in the company of the Y7, which is now to remain at Rowley rather than move to the Colliery as first planned. It is intended to alternate motive power plus occasionally double head with this pairing.
