GNFoT – Day three, a selection of photographs…
Here are a few grabbed shots taken today during the third day of the festival, which seemed busy and was certainly attended by some superb weather. The evening photo session and parade was excellent and the line up of trams in the street, particularly as dusk enveloped them, was very atmospheric. No doubt more images will appear in due course on various sites…
I will admit now that some of my faith in Beamish was disintegrating, with the lack of visiting trams out on Thursday, but the images of Saturday’s events have restored my faith! Well done Paul for making it all come together, I sincerely hope that the museum management appreciate all of your efforts and will support you even more with your future plans.
Very nice, was it yourself on the Coffee Pot? I’ve never seen a vertical boiler locomotive work, and never seen the Beamish colliery railway in action, so both were superb to see
The Morris was a treat to see for the first time too – my fiance’s family used to run a haulage company which started off with identical Morris Commercials, hauling coal in Kent
Great weekend a big thank you to all the staff who work like hell to make this event.
As always Paul you pulled it out of the bag even with all the problems that got in the way.
Beamish and the team always do it better than the rest first class museum.
Well Done
