It may only be a few days since the steam fair ended, but already we are ploughing on with the rest of the event and numerous other projects, as other posts in the blog reveal.  Here are a few photos of the event by Dave Hewitt, with thanks to him for allowing me to put them on the blog – the b&w ones are very atmospheric and a new angle on the railway.  I have put a whole tranche of images of the event into a new ‘galleries’ section on the menu bar to browse through.  If anyone wishes to publish any image, let me know which and I’ll sort out both subject details but also photographer credits as at the moment they are all jumbled together!  Over the event the blog hit a new record – over 1500 hits in one day, and it was consistently above 1300 for the duration – I suspect things will settle down a little now but it is nice to know that a few folks out there follow our progress!
