Today we hosted the British Association of Removers, who are holding their AGM in the north east and had arranged for a wide selection and age range of removal vehicles to attend Beamish and take part in a parade.  We’ve been inundated with heavy rain and flooding but despite having to dress for the occasion, things went smoothly and the parade, let by three horse drawn removal vans, proved to be a popular photographic opportunity.  Beamish supplied the horses and the Hoults removal van, the rest came from various removals firms who keep historic vehicles as a reminder of their roots.  Full details on the vehicles can be found in the BAR booklet, which is now added to the downloads section of this blog http://46.32.240.35/beamishtransportonline.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/BAR-Beamish-Vehicle-Leaflet-12pp.pdf
