For the spring gathering (April 19th) at London Bus Museum, Brooklands, Historic Vehicle Restoration took our future accessible bus, Leyland Cub 716 (ex Crosville) along to the show, their workshops being more or less adjacent to the old racing track within which the museum is located.  Here are some photos showing the wheeled Cub before moving around the corner for display.  They show its progress to date and how well advanced the restoration is (aiming for some time in the summer as a completion date) – compare these with photos on the ‘Bus Restorations’ thread on this blog to see how it looked when pulled from the undergrowth in Cheshire less than a year ago.  There will be a more detailed update on this project next week.
