Below: The track lads are laying in the new turnout for the engine shed siding, and which will maintain the existing siding alongside the main line, useful (if not vital) for loading and unloading.

Here are two views of the lead rails and first stock rails going into place. Much joggling is required but the basic layout is starting to come together.

Below: The Friends have been busy holding AGMs and the like, but are also progressing the various projects at a good rate. Here is one of the refurbished benches that they have created from a set of cast end frames, in the background are the green supports for Rowley Station benches.

Below: This pram was sans wheels a few weeks ago, but is now looking much healthier with a new set of wheels made for it.

Below: The street sweeper is receiving the first coats of paint, blue with red wheels and shafts.

This project will shortly be followed by the previously started water cart, also horse drawn, which will work in tandem with the sweep.
