Great War Steam Fair Day 2
Another day of mixed weather but the spectacle more than made up for this – here are some more images to give a flavour of the event…
I will add a gallery next week, but hopefully these serve to show the variety, quality and breadth of pre 1918 transport in action across the Museum.
We start with a rather appealing view courtesy of last night’s rain…
David Watchman took a far better selection – some of which can be seen here or on the Beamish facebook site (with some great films too…)
Really enjoyed day 1 of Great War steam Fair & am enjoying day 3 as well. Am very impressed, particularly with “new” narrow gauge to Pockerley. Just wondering if “Lilla” will still be there & working on 21st/22nd April during ‘King Coal’ event, the next time I travel ‘sooth’ from Scotland.
