Wheels of Industry 2024…
Our first Wheels of Industry event has been and gone, with nearly 11,000 visitors over the two days, making it successful operationally and commercially. Despite the weather forecasts, the weather was actually pretty good, and I saw a lot of photographers making the most of it, across the site. Sir Berkeley and the narrow gauge locomotives were, understandably, very popular, but the constant movement of road traffic really helped bring the site to life too. Here are some of my images taken over the weekend, and I’ll soon add some images sent in by others. The trio of Tasker traction engines were regularly lined up, and these are included in the gallery below. I missed the RSPCA Horses Friend paired with one of our horses, so will try and find a photo of that to add to the blog in due course.
